Join Emerge!2010 as it kicks off with an explosion of creativity that will explore different avenues of dialogue from dance, music, spoken word to the visual and healing arts. Share your insights and ideas at the VisionCafé, and be inspired by cutting-edge initiatives in indigenous culture and integral sustainable development. Bring your dancing shoes, paintbrushes, acoustic instruments and friends.

Igniting the Fire, Sustaining the Spirit

Get your cameras ready. Watch out for SIKLAB, an improvisational social sculpting event on the streets of Manila. Social Sculpture is built on a belief in the power of universal human creativity, and the potential of art to bring about radical social transformation. Through interactive artistic happenings, various artists will explore the question: “How can we inspire everyone to participate in what is emerging?” (Interested co-conspirators, message us at pagasayouth@gmail.com!)

EMERGE!2010 culminates with a final gathering to celebrate all that has emerged as well as all that is to come. Come and share stories, photographs and videos from ALAB-DIWA, SIKLAB, and the EMERGE!2010 International Training. This will end with a final jam session of music, dance and visual art, as well as a contextualizing forum with keynote speakers such as Orland Bishop, Walter Siegfried Hahn, Joey Ayala and Nicanor Perlas. From this Sacred Space, sparks of a new reality will be carried out into the world.
